Site Surveyor

Job Title: Site Surveyor (Civil)
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in civil contracting (UAE experience required)

Job Summary:

The Site Surveyor is responsible for conducting accurate land and construction surveys, setting out works, and ensuring all site measurements comply with project drawings, specifications, and UAE authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform land and construction surveys using total stations, GPS, and leveling instruments.
• Set out project works (buildings, roads, infrastructure) as per approved drawings.
• Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications and standards.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports, records, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Verify dimensions, levels, and alignment before and during construction.
• Conduct quantity measurements and assist in preparation of reports if required.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of survey equipment.
• Identify discrepancies in drawings and report to the project team.
• Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Site Surveyor in civil construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE surveying standards and construction practices.
• Proficiency in survey instruments (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level).
• Experience with surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Good understanding of drawings and site layouts.
