Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Surveyor to support structural steel fabrication and installation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out site surveys, setting out works, verifying dimensions and elevations, and ensuring accurate alignment and positioning of structural steel components in accordance with project specifications and ADNOC requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, measurements, and setting-out activities for structural steel erection and installation works.
• Establish and verify project control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and levels.
• Perform dimensional checks, alignment verification, and elevation surveys before, during, and after installation.
• Interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and project specifications.
• Prepare survey reports, as-built records, and measurement documentation.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, QA/QC teams, and clients on survey-related matters.
• Ensure structural steel installations comply with approved drawings and tolerances.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment such as Total Stations, Auto Levels, GPS, and related instruments.
• Support project teams in resolving site layout and alignment issues.
• Ensure survey activities comply with ADNOC standards, project requirements, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate survey records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural Steel Fabrication & Installation Industry.
• ADNOC-approved candidates and/or candidates with ADNOC project experience will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel setting-out, alignment, and dimensional control.
• Proficiency in using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and surveying software.
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings and survey layouts.
• Experience in preparing survey reports, as-built drawings, and measurement records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ADNOC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• UAE Driving License.
• Familiarity with survey quality control procedures and construction tolerances.
• Experience in large-scale structural steel erection projects.
