Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related).
Minimum 4-6 years experience in utility relocation/diversion within road or infrastructure projects.
Candidate must be well‑versed with the latest NAMA Electricity, NAMA Water & Wastewater, and Telecommunication authority standards along with applicable OHDS 2017 standards, ensuring full compliance during execution and coordination of utility works.
Must have proven experience working on similar road and infrastructure utility projects, with approval records from ministries/consultants (such as past project approvals, completion certificates, or competency endorsements) to be submitted as part of the application.
Strong knowledge of dry and wet utilities, authority procedures, inspections, and site execution workflows.
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Site Utilities Engineer for a fully site‑based role within major road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is a field‑driven engineer capable of managing, coordinating, and supervising utility works across multiple disciplines while ensuring compliance, safety, and timely delivery.

Dry Utilities:
Supervise relocation and protection of 11kV, 33kV, and LV electrical networks, including cabling, jointing, trenching, feeder pillars, and substations.
Oversee complete Road lighting and Traffic Signal systems, including light pole installation, foundations, cable routing, control panels, manholes, ducting and network integration.
Manage telecommunication diversions, including duct banks, chambers, manholes, micro ducts, fiber installation, splicing, and testing.
Coordinate with utility authorities for NOCs, shutdowns, inspections, approvals, and technical requirements.
Review drawings, submissions, and method statements, ensuring full technical compliance and smooth site execution.

Wet Utilities:
Supervise relocation/diversion of potable water pipelines, chamber construction works, fittings, tie‑ins, pressure testing, and commissioning.
Manage sewer network diversions, including pipeline realignment, manhole construction, connections, benching, and flow management.
Oversee relocation and reinstatement of irrigation pipelines in line with municipal and authority standards.
Review wet utility drawings, layouts, and method statements and ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.
Maintain proper documentation including test reports, inspection records, and as‑built updates.

General Responsibilities:
Review IFC drawings, verify scope with site conditions, coordinate with authorities/consultants for approvals, RFIs, and ensure timely compliance of all submissions including MAS.
Plan and manage work programs, resource allocation (manpower/equipment), material tracking, FAT participation if required, and maintain full documentation of deliveries, specifications, approvals, and inspection records.
Handle technical coordination, including maintaining RFI logs, identifying variations with backup, tracking subcontractor resources, monitoring potential delays, and ensuring proper technical resolution at site.
Prepare accurate weekly/monthly progress reports, maintain project records, and issue periodic lessons learned documentation to support continuous improvement.
