Site/Project Engineer – Fire protection System

We are seeking a detail-oriented Site/Project Engineer – Fire Protection System to manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems across projects in Dubai. The role involves supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and clients, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting project planning and execution. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems and proven site coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise installation of fire protection systems (firefighting, fire alarm, Emergency light etc.).

• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, BOQs, and method statements.

• Coordinate with civil /mep teams, and suppliers.

• Monitor site progress, manpower productivity, and material usage.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, authority regulations, and quality requirements.

• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.

• Identify technical issues and implement corrective solutions.

• Ensure materials delivered on site match approved specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• 2–4 years’ experience in fire protection system projects.

• Strong knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Familiarity with relevant fire safety codes and standards.

• Good coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• GCC/UAE experience required.
