Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and energetic Skilled Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or power tools to achieve smooth and even coverage.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications.
• Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, drywall patching, and stucco application to create a flawless finish.
• Execute specialized painting tasks including industrial coating applications and restoration projects on various surfaces.
• Use carpentry skills like trim carpentry and frame carpentry for finishing touches around windows, doors, moldings, and fixtures.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete painting tasks on time.
• Conduct site assessments to estimate materials needed for projects accurately; assist with construction estimating when required.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan work sequences on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Maintain a clean workspace by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials following safety protocols.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes related to construction painting and site safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting environments with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Knowledge of color theory to select appropriate color schemes that meet client specifications.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders, caulking guns, as well as power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment when necessary.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for precise project execution.
• Experience with plastering, stucco application, masonry work, concrete finishing or related restoration tasks is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform demolition or remodeling tasks involving framing carpentry or fixture installation when needed.
• Basic math skills for measurements and estimating material quantities accurately.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols along with experience working on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Maintenance Person experience or additional skills such as welding or airless paint spraying will be considered advantageous. Join us if you’re passionate about craftsmanship! Pay: $24.00 - $42.00 per hour
