SMEs Relationship Manager- SMEs Senior Relationship Manager (3793)

Job Accountabilities

  • Collect and analyze the data of potential and existing clients to prepare the needed credit packages in addition to periodically following up on the grated credit facilities and ensure reviewing its annual renewal procedures
  • Grow current business, maximize customer penetration and meet set business plan though conducting sales meetings with targeted clients jointly with the relevant Area Managers
  • Attract new SMEs companies to maximize the Banks liabilities, assets and trade finance as well as cross selling.
  • Offer SMEs products to targeted customers based on their size to best suit their needs.
  • Conduct calls to the SMEs customers to ensure that the granted facilities are utilized in the agreed upon purposes in addition to preparing the call memos for current SMEs customers
  • to report their market situation frequently through site visits, phone calls and checking their suppliers and buyers list.
  • Adhere to EGBANK Credit and Legal policies through closely monitoring the past dues report and take the necessary action.
  • Acting and consolidating the role of the first line of defense in being fully aware of the transactions that take place on their clients’ accounts and taking the necessary measures in the event / occurrence of something tainting the use of facilities for other than the purpose and documenting this in the SME sector work procedures manual
  • Periodically monitor the behavior of the accounts under responsibility to ensure that the use of the facilities is compatible with the purpose for which it was granted, while considering this into account when submitting to the credit risk review sector at the annual renewal and/or when needed
  • Educate clients about the obligation to use the credit facilities for the purposes mentioned in the credit approval, and in case of violating this, the credit facilities will be paid in full.
  • Follow up with concerned divisions/departments within the bank, to ensure the fast execution of agreed upon banking operations, and deal with any obstructions.
  • Responsible for the continuous update of the SMEs customer data & KYC to develop and improve the database with the support of the SMEs Assistant Relationship Managers
  • Prepare credit memorandums, in a well formatted manner and ensure covering all important aspects needed and present it to concerned parties
  • Review credit facilities and ensure they are in compliance with internal and external credit regulations taking into account the profitability of the bank and the quality of the portfolio

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business administration, Economics, accounting or its equivalence.
  • For Relationship Managers: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience – Credit Certified
  • For Senior Relationship Managers: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience – Credit Certified

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Good Problem solving and ability to work under pressure
  • Good basic use of Microsoft office
  • Sales and target oriented
  • Full awareness of bank product, services, policies, rules & regulation.
  • Thorough knowledge of profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
  • Assertive, proactive personality; demonstrated persistence in resolving issues and developing opportunities
