- Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Evening/Night)

Role Overview

The Social Media / Account Manager will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the social media strategy for Obsessed Pickleballers [https://obsessedpickleballers.com], a US-based pickleball coaching and training brand. This role goes beyond content execution and requires managing brand communication, client expectations, and ensuring alignment between strategy and delivery.

This is a hybrid role combining social media management with account management responsibilities — ideal for someone who understands how to manage brands, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure consistent, high-quality output.

The ideal candidate is creative, trend-aware, data-driven, and experienced in handling multiple brands in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with prior experience working in an agency setup and/or managing food and lifestyle brands will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand goals

● Create, curate, and manage engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)

● Plan and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and campaign execution

● Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and ensure smooth communication and alignment

● Manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations across campaigns

● Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and emerging platform features

● Engage actively with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries

● Analyze performance metrics and generate reports with actionable insights

● Run and optimize paid social media campaigns to drive traffic, leads, and conversions

● Collaborate with design, video, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content

● Support promotions for coaching programs, camps, events, and digital offerings

● Maintain brand voice, tone, and consistency across all digital channels

Required Skills & Attributes

● Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

● Strong copywriting and storytelling ability

● Experience managing clients or stakeholders (agency experience preferred)

● Experience working with food, lifestyle, or similar consumer-focused brands is a strong plus

● Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools

● Basic knowledge of paid advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.)

● Creative mindset with strong visual sense and attention to detail

● Data-driven approach to measuring and improving performance

● Ability to multitask and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

● Willingness to work onsite during evening/night hours

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a relevant field

● 3+ years of experience in social media management, account management, or digital marketing

● Prior experience working in an agency environment is highly preferred

● Experience managing US-based brands or audiences is a plus

● Interest in sports or familiarity with sports-driven communities is highly preferred
