Social Media and Content Strategist

As our new Social Media & Content Strategist, you’ll help shape our media division’s public voice and grow our online presence. This is a high-impact, hybrid role that blends social media strategy, video editing skills, creative execution, and in-studio production support.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Social Media Strategy & Management

• Lead the social media content strategy and calendar across all major platforms (X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)
• Write and publish daily posts tailored to each platform
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize content to drive growth and engagement
• Collaborate with leadership to create engaging content driven by the latest market trends and daily financial news cycle
• Monitor current trends in social media and the precious metals/commodities space
• Assist with email marketing, paid ads, and SEO-focused content as needed
• Work with internal departments to develop promotional materials

Video Editing & Short-Form Content

• Re-purpose long-format videos into short & engaging social clips (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
• Edit vertical and horizontal video formats optimized for each platform
• Select, edit and prep compelling video elements, including soundbites and b-rolls for shows and social media clips
• Design content for web, email, social, and occasional print needs
• Create YouTube thumbnails and other social media artwork using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools

Visual Design & Branding

• Maintain consistent branding across posts, thumbnails, and promotional assets
• Create graphics for social media, email campaigns, and in-video overlays
• Generate video templates and motion graphics

Studio & Production Support

• Assist during in-studio shoots (turning on lights, setting up cameras, adjusting framing, etc.)
• Be present for recordings via Streamyard or vMix platforms
• Be comfortable in a studio setting and able to anticipate needs during filming
• Help manage media files, online storage platforms, and basic troubleshooting on production days

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, video editing
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing or media
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent video editing software
• Experience designing social graphics with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Strong writing and editing skills for captions, headlines, and social copy
• Working knowledge of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and YouTube SEO
• Studio production familiarity

Bonus Skills

• Prior experience in financial media or precious metals
• Knowledge of macroeconomics, Bitcoin, or commodities is a plus
• Experience with recording platforms such as Streamyard, vMix, etc
• Familiarity with Constant Contact, Google Analytics, or paid ad platforms
• Familiarity with in-studio and remote interview recordings for a podcast or a show

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
