Social Media and Marketing Specialist

About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and detail‑oriented Social Media & Marketing Specialist to elevate our plastic surgery practice’s digital presence. This role blends content creation, brand storytelling, patient education, and data‑driven marketing to help our practice grow while maintaining a polished, ethical, and patient‑centered image.

You’ll be the voice and visual curator of our brand across social platforms, ensuring our messaging is consistent, engaging, and aligned with the high standards of aesthetic medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute social media content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Create high‑quality photo, video, and graphic content showcasing procedures, results, behind‑the‑scenes moments, and educational material.
  • Manage daily posting, community engagement, comment moderation, and DM responses.
  • Monitor trends in aesthetics, beauty, and wellness to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Collaborate with the surgeon and clinical team to capture compliant, HIPAA‑safe content.

Marketing & Branding:

  • Maintain consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all channels.
  • Write compelling copy for social posts, email campaigns, website updates, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for new procedures, promotions, and events.
  • Coordinate patient testimonials

Analytics & Growth:

  • Track KPIs such as engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and lead conversions.
  • Optimize content strategy based on data and platform algorithms.

Patient Experience & Reputation Management:

  • Respond to online reviews and inquiries professionally and in alignment with practice guidelines.
  • Support patient education by creating informative content about procedures, recovery, and safety.
  • Ensure all content complies with HIPAA and ethical marketing standards for medical practices.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (healthcare or aesthetics preferred).
  • Strong photography, videography, and editing skills (Reels/TikTok proficiency is a must).
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Familiarity with aesthetic procedures, skincare, and beauty trends.
  • Experience with analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Ability to work on‑site to capture content with the surgeon and staff.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and understanding of patient privacy requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of SEO and website content optimization.
  • Experience managing paid social ads.
  • Comfort directing on‑camera content and coaching staff for video shoots.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
