Social Media Assistant

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Social Media Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Social Media Manager, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. This is the perfect position for a "Canva wizard" who loves visual storytelling and wants to gain hands-on experience assisting on multiple brands in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote (Colorado-based)

Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour

Employment Type: Part-Time (10 Hours/ Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Content Creation: Design high-quality, on-brand static assets and carousels using Canva.
• Video Editing (Reels): Edit short-form video content specifically for Instagram Reels, utilizing Canva’s video suite to sync transitions and audio.
• Ideation: Brainstorm and develop fresh, organic content ideas and graphic concepts tailored to each client’s unique brand identity.
• Copywriting: Craft engaging, punchy, and error-free captions that drive community interaction and growth.
• Scheduling: Execute the content calendar by scheduling approved posts through Meta Business Suite.
• Revision Management: Implement feedback and requested updates from the Social Media Manager quickly and accurately.
• Project Tracking: Maintain an organized workflow through Monday.com ensuring all tasks are updated and deadlines are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Canva Mastery: You are highly proficient in Canva, including the use of brand kits, layers, and video editing features.
• Social Media Savvy: You have a deep understanding of current social media trends,
• Writing Skills: Strong command of grammar and the ability to adapt your "voice" to suit different industries.
• Quick Learner: You pick up new tools and brand styles rapidly.
• Highly Organized: You can juggle tasks for multiple clients without letting details slip through the cracks.
• Aesthetic Eye: A natural sense of layout, color theory, and typography.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management: Experience with Monday.com is a major plus, though we are happy to train the right candidate.
• Proactive Mindset: You don't just wait for instructions; you look for ways to improve a post or streamline a process.
