Rungolee is a small-batch, global chic women’s fashion and lifestyle brand blending vibrant, globally inspired design with artisan craftsmanship. We design our silhouettes and prints in-house, and each piece is handcrafted at our own factory in Mumbai, India — the hometown of our owner and designer, Anjali. Our mission is to create joyful, beautifully made clothing while building meaningful relationships with our community through creativity, quality, and ethical production.
We are seeking a full-time Social Media & Communications Manager to lead and grow our digital presence. This role is central to shaping our brand voice, engaging our community, and driving sales across multiple channels. As part of a small, creative team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact and help scale a unique, small-batch fashion brand in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Social media (50%)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and marketing strategy aligned with brand goals, including outreach within the St. Louis community
- Plan and maintain content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok, ensuring consistent branding and messaging
- Create engaging, high-quality content (photo, video, and written) that showcases products and tells the brand story
- Comfortable being behind the camera & in front of it
- Lead campaigns, promotions, and partnerships with influencers and brand ambassadors to increase visibility and drive traffic
Communications (25%)
- In collaborations with the customer service team, responding to customer inquiries and feedback in a timely, professional manner
- Collaborate with the creative team on marketing materials such as email campaigns, blog content, and website updates
- Identify and execute local marketing opportunities, including pop-ups, events, and partnerships with other businesses
Other (25%)
- Serve as the primary liaison with our external advertising agency, ensuring clear communication and alignment on all campaigns (familiarity with Slack is a plus)
- Provide occasional support to customers in the storefront, delivering a positive and brand-aligned experience
- Occasional organizational/administrative tasks in collaboration with the order fulfillment team
- Stay informed on current fashion trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing strategies to help guide brand direction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing (fashion industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of major social platforms and current best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with a strong visual eye and attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Outgoing and comfortable engaging directly with customers and the community
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Passion for fashion and genuine enthusiasm for brand storytelling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
