Position Summary:

The Social Media Content Creation & Growth Specialist will produce and manage engaging, trend-forward content that grows and nurtures Milan’s online community through organic social media channels. Capture, edit, and publish photos, videos, and written captions that align with the brand voice and marketing strategy. Monitor and moderate online groups, respond to community interactions, and adapt content based on performance data to maximize audience reach and engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, creativity, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Location: Omaha, NE | Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Publishing: Plan, capture, and edit photo and video content for use across organic social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and others. Write compelling, brand-aligned captions that encourage engagement. Maintain a consistent publishing schedule using social media management tools.
  • Community Management: Manage and moderate a private Facebook group and other online communities, ensuring a positive, inclusive environment. Respond to comments and messages in a timely, brand-consistent manner. Track community health and engagement metrics to inform strategy.
  • Trend Monitoring and Strategy: Research and stay informed on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and audience preferences. Identify and propose creative opportunities to improve content performance and reach. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social strategy with overall campaigns and goals.
  • Content Performance and Optimization: Analyze social media performance metrics using analytics tools. Identify top-performing content and develop recommendations for continuous improvement. Adjust content plans based on data-driven insights to enhance reach, engagement, and conversions. Use real-time data to keep growth strong and sustainable.
  • Onsite Content Production: Attend and participate in photo and video shoots at Milan clinics as needed. Capture behind-the-scenes and event-related content for real-time or future publishing.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media production, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in social media content creation, community management, or a related role required
  • Proficiency in photo and video production, including shooting and editing, required
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other major social networks required
  • Excellent writing skills for social captions and short-form content required
  • Demonstrated excitement over pop culture, social media, current slang, and trends required
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools required
  • Ability to adapt quickly to trends and shifting priorities required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines required
