Social Media & Content Creation Intern

Overview
Are you passionate about social media, creative content, and digital marketing? Join us as a Social Media & Content Creation Intern! This role focuses on capturing and publishing engaging content that highlights the plants, people, and daily operations at Hope Farms. You will help document the season as it unfolds while producing a steady stream of content for our social media channels.

The goal is to create a mix of photos, short-form videos, and before/after style content that showcases what makes the nursery unique.

Duties

• Capture photos and short-form video content around the nursery, greenhouse, and local job sites
• Create before/after content highlighting tree installations, landscaping projects, displays, and seasonal changes
• Edit and publish content to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Write captions and post/schedule content
• Work with management to implement weekly content ideas and campaigns
• Help maintain a consistent and engaging presence across social media platforms
• Collaborate on branding initiatives and contribute ideas for innovative digital marketing strategies
• Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing
• Engage with followers and manage relationships through proactive communication and community management techniques

Skills

• Experience using Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Comfortable with photography and short-form video creation
• Familiar with basic editing tools for photo and video content
• Creative and able to identify interesting moments to capture
• Organized and able to manage multiple posts per week
• Interest in plants, gardening, agriculture, or outdoor businesses is a plus
• Currently enrolled in a college program related to marketing, communications, media, or business (preferred but not required)
• Understanding of social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook Advertising
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail for all written content
• Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new trends
