Social Media Content Creator

Job Summary

Gelato Sweet Spot is seeking a creative, trend-savvy Social media content creator to manage and grow our presence across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook etc. This is an on-site, on-camera role where you will create engaging, high-volume content and act as a face of our brand.

Responsibilities

• Create and post multiple pieces of content daily (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, Threads, Facebook etc)
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends and execute content quickly
• Film and edit short-form video content in-store
• Appear on camera and represent the brand in a fun, engaging way
• Engage with followers through comments, messages, and trends
• Develop creative ideas for promotions, events, and product features
• Collaborate with ownership on marketing initiatives
• Track performance and adjust content strategy as needed

Qualifications

• Comfortable and confident on camera
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends
• Creative mindset with ability to generate content ideas independently
• Self-starter with strong time management skills
• Consistent and reliable with posting schedule
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, in-app editing, or similar)
• Must be local and able to work/film on-site in Poway, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or growing social media accounts
• Background in content creation, marketing, or hospitality
• Photography or visual branding skills
