Social Media Content Creator

We're looking for someone who lives and breathes short-form content and can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and Shorts, fast and consistently.

This is a hands-on production role, not a strategy role. We bring the ideas, the footage, and the templates. You bring the editing instinct, the speed, and the eye for what actually performs on social.

This role is remote to start, but we're looking for someone based in Houston or the surrounding area.

What you'll do

• Edit raw videos into platform-ready Reels, TikToks, and Shorts. Vertical, captioned, and built to hook in the first 2 seconds
• Build static ads/thumbnails in Canva from our existing templates
• Keep a steady weekly output flowing and schedule posts in Meta's planner
• Stay on top of trends so our content feels native, not corporate

You're a fit if you

• Have edited short-form video that people actually watched (examples required — see below)
• Are comfortable picking up editing tools (we use InShot; if you've used CapCut, Premiere, Instagram Edits, or similar, you'll be fine)
• Know your way around Canva
• Hit deadlines without being chased, reliability and showing up matter more to us than fancy effects
• Have a real feel for hooks, pacing, and captions that keep people watching

Nice to have:

Experience editing for business or brand accounts, basic understanding of Meta ads.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
