Social Media / Content / Marketing Manager

Overview
We are seeking a local (in person) dynamic and innovative Social Media / Content / Marketing Manager (full time or college intern) to lead our digital marketing/content initiatives and elevate our brand presence across multiple platforms.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft compelling content, develop strategic marketing campaigns, and engage audiences through creative storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for content creation, a keen eye for design, and a strategic mindset to drive brand growth and customer engagement in a fast-paced environment using new age techniques. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that align with brand goals and target audiences across social media channels, websites, email campaigns, and other digital platforms
  • Manage and grow social media accounts by creating engaging posts, videos, skits, graphics, and campaigns that increase followers and boost engagement
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality content including blog articles, white papers, videos, photography, and infographics
  • Utilize SEO best practices and keyword research to optimize content for search engines, increasing organic visibility
  • Oversee content management systems such as WordPress and other digital platforms to ensure timely publishing and updates
  • Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms; adjust strategies based on data insights
  • Design visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and videography/editing tools to produce professional-quality multimedia content
  • Conduct market research to identify trends in digital marketing, social media management, and content marketing; apply findings to enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Reach out to local youth sports teams for sponsorships as well as community event sponsorship
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging while exploring innovative ways to connect with diverse audiences

Skills

  • Proven experience (even if informal) in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
  • Strong video and video editing skills for content creation
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (including video editing software), and graphic design principles
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms
  • Ability to develop effective content strategies that support brand positioning and lead generation efforts
  • Skills in photography and videography to produce high-quality visual content for various channels
  • Strong editing skills to ensure all content is polished, accurate, and aligned with brand standards
  • Experience with reaching out to community for sponsorship opportunities
  • Open to admin tasks during free time

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
