Social Media Content Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, and analytics to optimize performance across various channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative social media marketing strategies that align with overall business goals.
• Create engaging content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling posts and managing multiple accounts efficiently.
• Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry trends, responding promptly to audience inquiries.
• Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to refine strategies and improve engagement.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Advertising and other platforms to increase reach and conversions.
• Perform keyword research to enhance SEO efforts in content creation.
• Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels while adapting content for different audiences.
• Engage in relationship management with influencers and partners to expand brand reach.
• Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand voice.
• Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics (Google Analytics).
• Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content.
• Experience in public relations or e-commerce is a plus.
• Ability to create compelling visual content through photography or video editing is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
