Social media content Strategist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative, data-driven Social Media Content Strategist to lead the planning, development, and execution of social media content that drives engagement, grows brand awareness, and supports business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of social platforms, content trends, and audience behavior, combined with excellent storytelling and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Pinterest, YouTube).
• Create and manage content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and brand objectives.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, video editors, and influencers to produce high-performing multimedia content.
• Monitor social trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to keep content strategy current and innovative.
• Optimize content based on performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.).
• Write compelling copy that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
• Analyze social media insights and report on KPIs to stakeholders, using findings to guide future strategies.
• Manage and grow the brand’s online community through active engagement and moderation.
• Ensure brand consistency in messaging and visual identity across all social channels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in social media strategy or content creation.
• Strong knowledge of current social media platforms, trends, tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer), and analytics (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
• Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable content strategies.
• Creative thinker with an eye for design and detail.
• Experience with influencer collaboration and/or user-generated content strategies is a plus.
• Familiarity with paid social media campaigns is a bonus.
