Social Media Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and creative Social Media specialist to join our team! Responsibilities

• Assist in creating compelling content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns aligned with marketing strategies.
• Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
• Use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to design eye-catching graphics and visual assets.
• Manage scheduling and posting using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
• Analyze web analytics and social media metrics via Google Analytics and platform insights to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to foster community relationships.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives and promotional activities.
• Assist in proofreading content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases or media outreach materials when needed.

Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices for marketing purposes.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research techniques to optimize content visibility.
• Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with social listening tools like Brandwatch or Mention is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media advertising platforms including Facebook Ads Manager is advantageous.
• Strong written communication skills with an eye for proofreading and editing content.
• Ability to analyze data using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools to inform strategy decisions.
