Job Position : Social Media Manager

Jobs & Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a cohesive social media and content strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Conduct audience research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Plan monthly/quarterly content calendars across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

2. Content Creation (Malayalam & English) & Curation

  • Create, design, and edit original content — including posts, reels, videos, graphics, and stories.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to produce creative assets.
  • Repurpose and adapt content for different platforms and formats.

3. Social Media Management

  • Oversee day-to-day posting, engagement, and channel performance.
  • Monitor audience interactions and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Ensure all content complies with brand and ethical guidelines

4. Campaign Development & Execution

  • Conceptualize and execute online marketing campaigns, product launches, or event promotions.
  • Coordinate paid ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and performance tracking for each campaign.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion, follower growth).
  • Generate weekly/monthly performance reports.
  • Use insights to improve future content and engagement strategies.

6. Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small creative team (if applicable).
  • Work with marketing, PR, and communications departments to ensure message alignment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, influencers, and brand partners when needed.

7. Trend Monitoring & Innovation

  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithms, and content formats.
  • Experiment with new ideas to keep content fresh and competitive.
  • Recommend emerging platforms or tools to enhance brand visibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Strong creative skills — writing, visual storytelling, and basic design/video editing.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in followers and engagement rate.
  • Consistency and quality of published content.
  • Campaign ROI and conversion metrics.
  • Improvement in brand awareness and audience retention.
