Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager —Onsite

Location: Maadi - Full Time - 9AM : 6PM

Department: Marketing

Reporting To: Head of Marketing

Job Summary

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to own and manage the end-to-end social media function across multiple brands. The role requires strong strategic thinking, hands-on execution in content posting and distribution, governance ownership over community management, and leadership of influencer, UGC, and direct marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is data-driven, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex, multi-account environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Define content pillars, channel roles, and posting frameworks.
  • Build and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars.
  • Continuously optimize strategy based on performance data and platform trends.

2. Content Management & Distribution

  • Own the content posting process across all social media platforms.
  • Execute data-driven content distribution, adapting formats, captions, and timing per platform.
  • Repurpose and optimize content across platforms while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Ensure content is published accurately, on time, and according to approved calendars.
  • Coordinate closely with creative teams to ensure smooth execution.

3. Community Management Governance (Non-Executional)

  • Design and document community management guidelines (tone of voice, response rules, escalation paths).
  • Create and maintain SOPs for handling comments, messages, reviews, complaints, and sensitive cases.
  • Align with Customer Service teams on workflows, SLAs, and responsibilities.
  • Monitor execution quality and compliance with guidelines.
  • Provide continuous feedback and optimization recommendations.

4. Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze social media KPIs across platforms.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and action points.
  • Evaluate content performance, distribution effectiveness, and audience behavior.
  • Test and optimize formats, posting schedules, and content types.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative, performance marketing, and customer service teams.
  • Ensure alignment between organic social media, paid campaigns, and customer experience.
  • Support campaigns, launches, and key marketing initiatives.

6. Influencer Marketing

  • Identify, onboard, and manage influencer collaborations.
  • Develop influencer briefs, content guidelines, and timelines.
  • Manage influencer deliverables and approvals.
  • Track influencer performance and ROI.
  • Ensure brand alignment and content quality.

7. UGC (User-Generated Content) Marketing

  • Design and execute UGC strategies and campaigns.
  • Define UGC sourcing, approval, and usage guidelines.
  • Repurpose high-performing UGC across platforms.
  • Measure UGC impact on engagement, trust, and overall performance.

8. Direct Marketing & Owned Channels

  • Plan and execute direct marketing initiatives across owned channels, including:
  • Email marketing
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp or similar messaging tools
  • Align direct marketing campaigns with social media calendars and messaging.
  • Coordinate segmentation, timing, and messaging based on campaign objectives.
  • Track and optimize performance metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversions, and unsubscribe rates.

  • Content publishing accuracy and consistency
  • Engagement rate, reach, and audience growth
  • Platform-specific performance optimization
  • Influencer campaign performance and ROI
  • UGC volume, quality, and performance impact
  • Direct marketing performance metrics
  • SOP adherence and execution quality

Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in social media management.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts or brands.
  • Hands-on experience with content distribution, influencer marketing, and UGC campaigns.
  • Marketing & Advertising Agency experience is mandatory.
  • E-commerce and mobile application marketing experience is mandatory.

Tools

  • Proficiency in social media management platforms (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer).
  • Strong experience using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in content planning, scheduling, and collaboration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of creative tools is a plus.
