About the Role

Andersen Hitches is seeking a driven content creator to take ownership of our social media presence and help grow our brand within the towing, RV, and outdoor lifestyle markets.

This is not a basic scheduling role. This position is responsible for building, executing, and scaling our social media efforts across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate understands how content performs, stays current with trends, and is motivated to grow an audience through consistent, high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage company accounts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content on a consistent basis
  • Engage with the audience by responding to comments and messages
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on growth and engagement

Content Creation

  • Produce 2–3 short-form videos per week
  • Handle all aspects of production including filming, editing, and publishing
  • Develop content ideas based on trends, performance data, and brand direction
  • Apply strong content fundamentals such as effective hooks, storytelling, and clear calls to action

Growth and Strategy

  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and content formats
  • Continuously test and refine content to improve reach and engagement
  • Develop and implement hashtag and posting strategies
  • Contribute to defining and refining Andersen’s voice on social media

Additional Experience (Preferred but Not Required)

  • TikTok Shop familiarity
  • Experience working with influencers or user-generated content

Qualifications

We prioritize practical experience, initiative, and mindset over formal credentials.

Strong candidates will:

  • Have experience creating content (personal or professional)
  • Understand what drives performance in short-form video
  • Regularly study trends, creators, and content formats
  • Be comfortable behind the camera and open to being on camera when needed
  • Have working knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience growing a social media following
  • Interest in trucks, RVs, camping, or outdoor recreation
  • Strong instincts for identifying high-performing content

Location and Schedule

  • Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho (on-site at Andersen Hitches headquarters)
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour days (Monday through Thursday)
  • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate
