Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and technically proficient Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies, while also taking the lead in producing, editing, and optimizing video content for our dedicated YouTube channels. This role requires a strong understanding of social media marketing, a proven ability to create high-quality video content, and expertise in analytics to ensure all digital messaging aligns with our overall marketing goals.

Duties

Video Content Production & Editing:

  • Produce and film original, high-quality video content specifically for two distinct YouTube channels (Insurance Related)
  • Edit raw footage into compelling, branded videos using professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Manage the in-house studio setup, including lighting, sound, and camera equipment, to ensure consistent, professional quality.
  • Develop video scripts, storyboards, and call-to-actions to maximize viewer engagement and conversions.
  • Optimize all YouTube content with compelling titles, thumbnails, tags, and descriptions to maximize search visibility and click-through rates.

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create diverse, engaging non-video content (e.g., text, images, short clips) that resonates with target audiences while maintaining brand voice and identity.
  • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.

Collaboration & Analytics:

  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to produce supporting graphics and thumbnails using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Analyze web and video analytics (e.g., YouTube Studio, Google Analytics) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Implement social listening techniques and maintain relationships with influencers/partners.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to branding guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, video production, and social media management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Demonstrable expertise in video production, filming, and post-production editing is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and YouTube Studio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present well on camera or direct others effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing best practices, relationship management, and branding strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
