Job Summary

PART-TIME:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our team at Alpha Sports Performance. This role will focus on capturing video/photo content of our athletes, training sessions, and facility culture, then producing and publishing engaging content across our social media platforms and YouTube channel. The right candidate will help us grow our online presence, increase brand awareness, and connect with our audience through authentic storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation
  • Film and edit high-quality videos of training sessions, athlete highlights, testimonials, and educational content.
  • Capture photos for use across social media and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all content.
  • Social Media Management
  • Develop and implement a content calendar for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Write engaging captions, titles, and descriptions tailored to each platform.
  • Post regularly and monitor engagement (comments, shares, DMs).
  • YouTube Channel Management
  • Edit and upload long-form videos, shorts, and playlists.
  • Optimize videos for search (SEO, tags, titles, thumbnails).
  • Track analytics to improve reach and engagement.
  • Strategy & Growth
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in fitness, sports performance, and social media.
  • Suggest creative ideas for new content series, collaborations, and campaigns.
  • Report on performance metrics and make recommendations for growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience with video production (shooting, editing, lighting, sound).
  • Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
  • Creative eye for storytelling and detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Bonus: Experience in fitness, sports, or performance-related industries.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time.
  • Hours may include evenings/weekends to capture live events or training sessions.
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience ($20 per hour).
  • Introductory Period: The position begins with a 90-day trial period, with reviews at 30, 60, and 90 days. At the end of the 90 days, a decision will be made on continued employment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
