Who we are

Sempre Oggi is a Michelin-recognized modern Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side built around a single idea: the daily menu, the seasonal ingredient, the meal that makes today matter.

There is a real person behind the brand with a genuine point of view about food, hospitality, and what it means to make the meal matter. Your job is to learn that point of view deeply enough to tell the story when he's not in the room — and to help build something that outlasts any single post.

What you'll own

  • Feed content across @semprenyc on Instagram and TikTok — 3 to 4 posts per week per account
  • Instagram Stories daily on @semprenyc
  • Coordination of two monthly shoots with our videographer — shot lists, logistics, content calendar
  • Weekly content plan submitted for approval every Monday
  • Ingredient research and pre-shift training card production — one featured ingredient per week
  • Wednesday Union Square Greenmarket coordination with Robert
  • Weekly analytics report every Friday

How we think about content

Every post maps to a pillar, serves a specific audience, and reflects a specific point of view. We have a detailed content brief that defines the voice, the strategy, the platform behavior, and the approval workflow. The best restaurant content doesn't look like restaurant marketing — it looks like something worth reading. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's the standard we're looking for in you.

What we're looking for

Someone who has managed social accounts for a food, hospitality, or lifestyle brand and can show results. Not follower counts — evidence that content built something real. A writer who thinks editorially. Someone who understands that TikTok and Instagram are fundamentally different platforms and treats them that way — not from theory, from experience.

Most importantly: someone who loves food. Who finds the story behind an ingredient genuinely interesting. Who has eaten at a restaurant because they read about it first and couldn't stop thinking about it.

The role in practice

Three days per week on-site at Sempre Oggi. You're in the restaurant — watching service, talking to the kitchen, learning what arrived this morning and why it matters tonight. The other days you're writing, editing, and building the content calendar remotely.

The owner is involved. He reviews all feed content before it posts and co-writes the posts that require his voice. He is a collaborator, not a bottleneck. The approval window is 24 hours.
