About Seagrove Marketing
Seagrove Marketing is a content-first digital marketing agency serving coastal destinations, tourism organizations, and local businesses. We specialize in creating scroll-stopping photo, video, and social content that drives real-world impact for our clients—from tourism boards and attractions to service-based businesses and community organizations. Our culture is creative, collaborative, and a little bit beachy: we care about strategy, storytelling, and results just as much as beautiful visuals.
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, organized Part-Time Social Media Manager to help plan, create, and manage content primarily across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for both Seagrove Marketing and our roster of clients.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who loves digital trends, understands how to turn raw content into compelling posts, and enjoys engaging with online communities. You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and tracking performance to increase visibility, engagement, and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Scheduling
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content (captions, graphics, carousels, Reels, and TikToks) for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Repurpose photo and video assets from our production team into platform-optimized content.
- Build and maintain content calendars for Seagrove Marketing and client accounts.
Platform Management
- Ensure timely, consistent posting across platforms in line with each client’s strategy and goals.
- Assist in uploading and organizing assets in shared folders and project management tools.
Community Engagement
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions across platforms.
- Respond in a friendly, on-brand voice, and escalate important messages or leads to the internal team.
- Help nurture engaged communities around our clients’ brands.
Trend Monitoring
- Stay current on social media trends, audio, formats, and algorithm updates—especially on Instagram and TikTok.
- Proactively suggest ideas for Reels/TikToks and campaigns that align with client goals and current trends.
Performance Analysis
- Track and report on basic KPIs (reach, engagement, saves, clicks, etc.) using tools such as Meta Business Suite and platform-native analytics.
- Provide simple insights and recommendations to improve content performance over time.
Brand Consistency
- Ensure all content, captions, and responses align with each client’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging guidelines.
- Follow internal style guides and templates while still bringing creative ideas to the table.
Collaboration
- Work closely with our founder and creative team (photo/video production, designers, and strategists) to execute cohesive campaigns.
- Participate in occasional virtual check-in meetings to align on priorities and deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in social media management or a similar role (agency or multi-brand experience is a plus).
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok best practices.
- Confident writer with a knack for catchy hooks, clear captions, and on-brand tone.
- Proficiency with content creation tools such as Canva (Adobe Creative Suite and CapCut or similar video editing apps are a plus).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of analytics and how to adjust content strategy based on what’s working.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while communicating clearly with the team.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in social media, marketing, and storytelling.
- Bonus: Familiarity with tourism, local service-based businesses, or coastal/lifestyle brands.
