Social Media Manager and Meta Expert

First Station Media is seeking a full-time Social Media Manager & Meta Ads Expert to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns across Meta platforms. This role requires someone who knows Meta Ads Manager front and back and has hands-on experience launching, scaling, and troubleshooting successful paid and organic campaigns. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative with an understanding of campaign structure, targeting, boosting strategy, and performance metrics while also maintaining consistent, engaging social media content.

Key Responsibilities

Meta Advertising & Campaign Management

  • Manage and optimize advertising campaigns using Meta Ads Manager (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Plan, launch, and monitor paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, budgeting, testing, and performance optimization
  • Execute and manage boosted posts and paid promotions
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to improve results and ROI
  • Troubleshoot account, campaign, or platform-related issues within Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager
  • Stay up to date with the latest Meta advertising features, algorithm changes, and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align campaigns with marketing goals and client objectives

Content & Social Media Management

  • Plan and execute a consistent posting schedule across social media platforms.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content using scheduling tools.
  • Compose and proof posts and campaign verbiage, making any corrections as needed.
  • Manage post boosting strategies to increase reach and engagement.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, marketing goals, and current social trends.
  • Monitor comments, engagement, and community interactions.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on social media performance and ad campaign results.
  • Provide weekly and monthly insights with actionable recommendations.
  • Identify growth opportunities and new campaign strategies.

Platform & Technical Management

  • Maintain Meta Business Manager, Ads Manager, and account integrations.
  • Ensure proper setup of tracking pixels, events, and conversion tracking.
  • Stay up to date on Meta algorithm changes, ad policies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Meta Ads Manager campaigns at scale.
  • Strong understanding of boosting posts and full-funnel paid social strategies.
  • Experience with campaign optimization, A/B testing, and audience targeting.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; a background in copywriting is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
