Social Media Manager / Associate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Manager / Associate to manage and grow our online presence across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate is passionate about social impact, has a strong sense of storytelling, and can develop compelling digital content that aligns with our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and reach.

● Create and maintain a content calendar for consistent posting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

● Create and schedule engaging content (graphics, videos, reels, stories, etc.) for platforms including Facebook, Instagram,YouTube, Tiktok and LinkedIn.

● Monitor, respond to, and engage with community comments and messages in a timely and respectful manner.

● Analyze performance metrics and prepare monthly reports on growth, engagement, and trends.

● Work closely with the Programs and Communications team to align social media with current campaigns, events, and initiatives.

● Stay updated with social media trends and suggest creative approaches to increase visibility.

● Manage paid promotions (Facebook/Instagram ads).

● Coordinate with designers, photographers, or volunteers when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

● Masters/ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).

● 1–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the nonprofit or development sector.

● Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and social media best practices.

● Excellent written communication skills (Urdu & English).

● Proficiency in tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Later).

● Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.

● Creative, proactive, and organized with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs180,000.00 per month
