Social Media Manager (Visuals Focus)
The Role
We’re a leading crypto media company building one of the most powerful distribution networks in Web3. We’re looking for a Social MediaManager for our Instagram account(s) - a social presence operator who understands how to manage, build and scale multiple social media accounts for maximum distribution and reach.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager (with a focus on design and visual content) who can turn complex crypto topics and our millions of hours of content into visually engaging, scroll-stopping content that educates, entertains, and grows our audience.
You’ll work closely with our hosts, school, research, content, design, and partnerships teams to make sure our Insta feed is trending, sharp, timely, and unmissable.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our brand goals and crypto audience.
Plan monthly content calendars featuring news updates, infographics, reels, carousels, and collaborations.
Identify trends and content opportunities that drive growth and engagement.
Align Instagram strategy with the wider marketing, social media and YouTube content roadmap.
Develop and execute a content and engagement strategy tailored to Instagram, and other platforms, across multiple accounts within our group.
Identify opportunities to join trending conversations, memes, and narratives relevant to crypto.
Create trending conversations, memes and narratives relevant to crypto.
Grow the brand’s following, engagement rate, and influence within the crypto community.Use analytics tools to measure performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
Content Creation & Posting
Conceptualize, brief, and produce Instagram content — static posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories.
Write captions that are engaging, informative, and aligned with our tone of voice.
Coordinate with the design and video teams to ensure consistent brand aesthetics.
Work with the design teams and researchers to brief and create visuals, charts, memes, and infographics optimized for X, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
Schedule and manage constant posts, ensuring consistency and tone of voice; across multiple profiles.
With teams, craft content calendars that align with company announcements, campaigns, and major crypto events.
Community Engagement
Track performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, saves, shares, follower growth).
Report weekly on performance insights and content learnings.
Experiment with different post types, times, and styles to maximize reach and engagement.
Stay ahead of Instagram algorithm changes and platform updates.
Analytics & Reporting
Track key metrics (growth, reach, engagement, clicks) and provide weekly performance reports.
Identify what types of content perform best and iterate quickly.Stay informed on X, Instagram, TikTok and other platform algorithm changes and platform updates.
Requirements
4 years of experience in social media management, ideally with a focus on X, Instagram and TikTok .
Deep knowledge of crypto, Web3, and online culture — from memes to market narratives.
Proven experience growing and managing large Instagram, TikTok and other platform accounts - from zero to hero!
Excellent writing and communication skills with a sharp, engaging tone.
Experience managing cross-platform strategies (Instagram + TikTok or YouTube Shorts).
Knowledge of paid social or boosting strategies.
Comfort in front of the camera for IG Stories or Lives (optional).
Understanding of meme culture and how it intersects with crypto narratives.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where news moves quickly.
Experience managing multiple accounts or personalities (e.g. founders, influencers).
Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, or CapCut etc).
Ability to work with AI or automation tools for scheduling and analytics.
Proven ability to grow engagement and followers organically.
Strong creative instincts — with an eye for design, layout, and storytelling.
Comfortable writing captions and brainstorming hooks that capture attention.
Understanding of how Instagram interacts with YouTube, Telegram, and other crypto platforms.
