Position Social Media Intern

Location: EPS Admin Building: 3171 N 93rd Street, Omaha, NE 68134

Hours: 15-20 hours per week, may vary depending on projects ; daily schedule flexible depending on classes

Hourly Rate: Starting at $15/hour

Position Purpose
Social Media Intern: Will support the marketing staff to develop and implement media content for Essential Pregnancy Services (client) and Friends of EPS (donor) social media accounts, design graphics, and film short-form video content.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns

· Help create and edit short-form videos

· Assist with photo/video content shoots

· Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience

· Create compelling graphics to share across social channels

· Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms

· Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

· Support marketing team at live and online events, as needed

· Perform social media marketing research

· Brainstorm and research ideas for original content or appropriate trends that could be participated in

· Develop new strategies for increasing engagement

· Ensure brand message is consistent

· Any additional responsibilities assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Commitment to the mission of EPS, awareness, and willingness to become familiar with the agency’s services

· Knowledgeable in social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta Business Suite

· Experience working in Adobe Express, Canva, Adobe Illustrator or equivalent design program

· Experience filming and editing short form video content

· Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Attention to detail and follows policies and procedures

· Team player and willing to assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Maintain client confidentiality when working on content and within centers

· Your employment with Essential Pregnancy Services will be on an at-will basis.
