Social Media Marketing Intern - Remote (Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming)

The Social Media Marketing Intern is responsible for helping communicate this message to small businesses through social media posts and blog articles.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging social media content including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Write engaging, SEO-focused blog articles
• Curate photography, video, and other assets to be used on social media platforms.
• Moderate social media comments when necessary.
• Understand social media and content marketing strategy and assist Director of Marketing and Communications in developing successful strategies.
• Understand metrics and create reports demonstrating value of social media marketing.
• Assist Director of Marketing and Communications with additional marketing and internal communications projects as needed.

Education and Experience

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, public relations or related fields or minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience
• 0-3 years of social media content creation and management experience, preferably in B2B
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience creating social media graphics in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Premier Pro)
