We are currently seeking Social Media Specialist for our Group’s Marketing department in Dubai.

Purpose of the Job
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing Ghassan Aboud Holding’s social media presence across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and others. Further the position holder also ensures key news get updated to respective webpages of Group and relevant Business Units. The role also ensures that key news and updates are reflected on the official webpages of the Group and relevant Business Units.
This position involves creating and curating content, engaging with online audiences, monitoring trends, and analysing performance to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and visibility. The Social Media Specialist works closely with the marketing, content, and customer service teams to ensure all online communication aligns with the Group’s brand identity and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the GA Holding’s overall positioning, goals, and growth KPI’S.
Manage and maintain official social media accounts, ensuring consistent posting schedules and platform-appropriate content.
Create, curate, and publish original and engaging content, including images, videos, graphics, and written posts, that reflects GA Holding’s brand voice, appeals to target audiences and delivers positive KPI’s.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with all business units and functions to identify “newsworthy” activities across the Group.
Ensure timely coverage on both social media platforms and relevant webpages, following BU/function guidance and approvals.
Content Creation & Campaigns:
Create and develop weekly/monthly social media calendar ensuring sufficiency, relevance and diversity of content.
Work with marketing and creative teams to plan and execute campaigns for speaking engagements, signing ceremonies, awards, CSR activities, recruitment, and other relevant initiatives.
Ensure all content is visually appealing, on-brand, and optimized for different social media platforms, such as Instagram Stories, Facebook posts, and X updates.
Collaborate with photographers, designers, and videographers to produce high-quality visual content, including photoshoots of employees, ceremonies, behind-the-scenes etc.
Ensure publication of key content on the Group and BU webpages to maintain updated digital presence and support SEO visibility.
Community Engagement:
Engage with the online communities by responding promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and reviews.
Foster positive audience relationships by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and sharing helpful information.
Monitor and manage user-generated content to ensure positive brand interactions and highlight testimonials and success stories.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
As required tracking, analysis, and min. monthly reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as engagement rates, follower growth, click-through rates, and overall campaign performance.
Use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Meta Insights , and Instagram Analytics , to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Prepare regular reports on social media performance for internal stakeholders, highlighting successes, areas for growth, and upcoming opportunities.
Trend Monitoring & Competitive Analysis:
Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve social media strategies and content.
Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Test and evaluate new content formats such as Reels, TikTok, and live streaming.
Collaborations & Partnerships:
Develop and manage social media contests, giveaways, and interaction as relevant and brand / channel appropriate.
Liaise with business partners, government entities etc to enable cross-fertilisation of accounts, via tagging, re-sharing etc.
Brand Advocacy & Crisis Management:
Maintain a strong brand voice across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
Monitor brand mentions and social conversations to identify potential crises, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all social media interactions reflect Ghassan Aboud Holding’s values and TOV.
Create together with Group PR/Coms Manager crisis preparation for different scenarios, to be prepared in case any such crisis happens
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in similar field like Marketing.
Strong written and visual communication skills.
Creativity and eye for design.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools.
Time management and multitasking ability.
Understanding of SEO and content optimization best practices.
Collaborative and proactive approach.
