Position Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist/Engineering Content Creator to support our engineering and construction teams. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the engineering and construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies tailored to engineering topics and audiences
  • Create, curate, and schedule high-quality content across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) that highlights projects, innovations, and company culture
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to understand and simplify complex information for social media
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Analyze social media metrics and prepare regular reports to optimize content and engagement
  • Support internal communications and employer branding initiatives through social media campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts, ideally within technical or engineering sectors
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with an ability to translate technical jargon into clear, compelling content
  • Basic understanding of engineering concepts or willingness to learn quickly
  • Outstanding communication skills in English—speaking, writing, reading, and listening.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and regulatory liaison.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
