Job Description:
Position Summary
The Social Mobilization Officer (Decent Work) will be responsible for mobilizing communities, particularly women workers and marginalized labor groups, to promote labor rights, safe working conditions, collective organization, and economic empowerment.
The position will support the formation of workers’ groups, women labor unions, and community-based associations to strengthen workers’ voices and improve access to fair wages, occupational safety, and social protection services.
The role will also facilitate training, awareness campaigns, and advocacy initiatives related to decent work, labor rights, gender equality, and sustainable livelihoods.

4. Economic Empowerment and Livelihood Support
5. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Promotion
6. Community Advocacy and Workers’ Rights Campaigns
7. Community Events and Awareness Activities
8. Monitoring, Documentation, and Reporting
9. Stakeholder Coordination
Reporting Line:
The Social Mobilization Officer will report to the Project Manager – Decent Work Program.
