Social Work Supervisor III- Child Protective Services

Job Overview
Join our dedicated Child Protective Services team as a Social Work Supervisor III, where you will lead and oversee critical child welfare programs designed to protect vulnerable children and support families in need. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex cases, develop innovative intervention strategies, and foster strong relationships with community partners. As a supervisor, you will ensure that our services are delivered efficiently, compassionately, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of social workers and support staff engaged in child protective services case management.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of intervention plans tailored to individual family needs, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Manage program operations, including resource allocation, budgeting, and administrative tasks to maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive child welfare efforts.
  • Monitor case progress through regular reviews, audits, and documentation to ensure compliance with legal requirements and agency policies.
  • Lead staff training initiatives focused on behavioral health issues, trauma-informed care, and working effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Handle complex escalations or sensitive situations with professionalism, ensuring the safety of children while supporting family reunification or alternative permanency plans.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant experience.
  • Proven supervisory experience in social work or child protective services with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with social work principles, child welfare regulations, and best practices for safeguarding vulnerable populations.
  • Prior experience supervising staff involved in behavioral health interventions or family support programs is highly desirable. Join us in making a meaningful difference!
