Social Worker

Egypt Education Platform is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team at Prime National Schools - Scholar's International Language School. The Social Worker will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students, working closely with families, teachers, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Assess students' needs and develop tailored intervention plans to support their well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and supportive school environment.
• Engage with parents and families to enhance support structures for students.
• Coordinate with external agencies and professionals to advocate for student needs and resources.
• Facilitate training workshops for staff on social-emotional learning and support strategies.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of services provided, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies.
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of policies and practices that promote student welfare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families in a school or community setting.
• Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and social services.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and implement culturally responsive practices.
• Relevant certification or licensure in social work is an advantage.
