Job Title: Software Applicaiton Support

Job Summary:

NIFT is a forward-looking organization providing innovative Financial solutions. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Application Support Specialist to join our team and ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and support of our business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level support for business applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to address recurring problems.
• Monitor application performance and escalate issues where necessary.
• Document incidents, solutions, and best practices for future reference.
• Assist in software updates, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide user training and guidance on application features and functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software systems, databases (SQL), and web technologies.
• Experience with Linux/Windows server environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITIL processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with .NET/Java applications and APIs.
• Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET Core
• Working Conditions:
• This is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week. The ASP.NET Core Programmer may occasionally be required to work evenings or weekends to meet project deadlines.

Salary:

The salary for this position will be based on experience and qualifications.
