Software Engineer

Job Description

RIKSOF is an award-winning agency building AI-enabled solutions for mobile, web and IoT projects. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript to join our dynamic engineering team.

The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of SQL and MongoDB, experience with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD. Experience with .NET and Flutter is a strong bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Develop and optimize database queries using SQL and MongoDB.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Maintain and manage source control using Git.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing enhancements to tools, processes, and development practices.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of professional software development experience.
