Software Implementation Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Implementation Specialist to manage end-to-end deployment, configuration, and support of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) / HMS (Hospital Management System) software across hospital client sites. The role requires strong SQL/database skills, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to work closely with hospital IT staff, clinicians, and internal product teams to ensure smooth go-live and post-implementation support.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. EMR / HMS Software Implementation

• Execute end-to-end implementation of EMR/HMS software at hospital sites.
• Configure system modules including:
• Patient Registration & ADT
• OPD / IPD
• Billing & Insurance
• Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology
• Reports & MIS
• Support on-site and remote implementations, including UAT and production go-live.

2. Database & SQL Support

• Work with MS SQL Server / MySQL / Oracle databases.
• Write and execute SQL queries for:
• Data validation and reconciliation
• Migration verification
• Report accuracy checks
• Assist with database setup, backups, and basic performance troubleshooting.
• Support report customization (Crystal Reports / SQL-based reports).

3. Data Migration & Validation

• Support data migration from legacy hospital systems into EMR/HMS.
• Validate migrated data including:
• Patient records
• Billing data
• Master data (doctors, services, tariffs)
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

4. Testing & Go-Live Support

• Conduct functional, integration, and UAT testing with hospital users.
• Support go-live activities including:
• Cutover planning
• Issue tracking and resolution
• On-site stabilization support
• Perform post-go-live validation and monitoring.

5. Client Training & Support

• Train hospital staff including:
• Doctors
• Nurses
• Front-office staff
• Billing and admin teams
• Provide user manuals, SOPs, and workflow documentation.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact during implementation.

6. Issue Resolution & Application Support

• Troubleshoot EMR/HMS application issues.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues.
• Coordinate with development and support teams for bug fixes.
• Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution.

7. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain implementation documents:
• Configuration checklists
• Issue logs
• Deployment reports
• Support audits, compliance, and hospital IT documentation requirements.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare data security and privacy standards.

8. Travel & Field Deployment

• Travel to hospital client locations as required.
• Support extended on-site implementation periods (up to 30 days).
• Provide remote HQ support when not traveling.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

• Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, basic stored procedures).
• Experience with relational databases:
• MS SQL Server / MySQL / Oracle
• Experience in healthcare software or enterprise application implementation.
• Basic understanding of:
• Networking
• Application servers
• Windows/Linux environments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
