Software Product Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and user-focused Software Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, ensuring our software is intuitive, effective, and visually appealing. This role requires a strong balance between understanding user needs, achieving business goals, and executing exceptional visual and interaction design.

Key Responsibilities

• User Research & Discovery: Conduct qualitative research (interviews, surveys) and analyze quantitative data to deeply understand user behavior, motivations, and pain points across our software platform.
• Concept & Ideation: Translate complex user problems and business requirements into effective, user-centered design solutions by generating low-fidelity wireframes, user flow diagrams, and storyboards.
• Prototyping & Testing: Create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes and execute structured usability testing to gather rapid feedback and validate design concepts with real users.
• Visual Design Execution: Deliver polished, production-ready UI designs and assets, ensuring visual consistency and adherence to our brand and accessibility standards.
• Design System Contribution: Actively contribute to the growth and governance of the company's Design System to ensure consistency and efficiency for both design and tec teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and iteratively with Product Manager (to define requirements) and tec Engineers (to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation).
• Documentation & Handoff: Prepare detailed design specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for a seamless handoff to the engineering team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Interaction Design, Graphic Design, HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a similar role, specifically designing web-based or mobile software applications (SaaS).
• Strong Portfolio Required: A compelling portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process, critical thinking, and visual design proficiency across several projects.
• Expert Proficiency in Design Tools: Mastery of industry-standard design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD).
• User-Centric Approach: Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and modern usability best practices.
• Technical Awareness: Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, responsiveness) and how design choices impact engineering effort.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and present work to stakeholders.
