Software Project Manager

Location: Korangi Industrial Area (Near Brooke’s Roundabout), Karachi

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead multiple web and mobile development teams across diverse technologies. You’ll be responsible for driving project delivery, maintaining code quality, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients, developers, and management.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment — someone who can balance technical depth with people management and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software projects.
• Manage and mentor cross-functional teams of developers, ensuring timely progress and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scopes, resolve issues, and maintain alignment.
• Monitor and enhance software development, troubleshooting, and QA processes.
• Track and report project performance using established tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Prepare and maintain clear project documentation, reports, and communication logs.
• Drive innovation by introducing process improvements and leveraging modern technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience managing software development projects (Web + Mobile).
• Strong command over Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, etc.), HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Git.
• Exposure to UI/UX design principles and basic design workflows.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and related management tools.
• Demonstrated success in leading mobile app development projects (Android, iOS, Hybrid).
• Excellent communication, client-handling, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
