Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Cloudpacer is looking for a SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER with hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation testing, specifically for mobile applications, to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our mobile apps. Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills are key for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Mobile Testing: Conduct manual and automated testing of mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance across iOS and Android platforms.

Automation Framework Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using mobile test automation tools like Appium, Selenium, or other frameworks.

Test Execution and Reporting: Execute test cases and document detailed bug reports to track issues and support quality improvements.

Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to understand the application’s features and requirements, ensuring thorough test coverage.

Regression Testing: Run automated regression tests to ensure that updates and new releases do not introduce defects in existing functionality.

Documentation and Reporting: Write clear, concise, and detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports. Present test results to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

2 years of experience in manual and automation testing for mobile applications (iOS and Android).

Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools like Appium, Selenium, or JUnit.

Knowledge of mobile-specific testing practices, including UI/UX testing, device compatibility, and performance testing.

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for writing automated test scripts.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests into build pipelines.

Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or equivalent.

Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
