Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing to join our onsite team at Bahria Orchard, Lahore. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products through structured testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing for web and application-based systems
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, smoke, and UAT testing
• Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and best practices
• Analyze test results and provide clear quality reports to management
• Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SQA (Manual + Automation)
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience in performance or security testing
