Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Software and Technology Sales Manager to join our growing ERP software development company. This individual will play a key role in driving Local Market business growth by identifying new opportunities, converting leads into sales, and developing a sales strategy that will shape the future of the business. The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute a lead generation pipeline, bring in global leads, and convert those into actual projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and leading a leads generation and sales team, ensuring consistent inflow of projects and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Conversion:

  • Develop and manage a global lead generation pipeline, focusing on identifying high-potential leads for software development and technology projects.
  • Strategize with company leadership to target and prioritise potential clients and markets.
  • Cold call and follow up on warm/hot leads to convert them into successful projects and long-term partnerships.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Drive the entire sales cycle from identifying prospects, pitching products and services, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set sales goals and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to adapt the sales strategy as necessary.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and lead generation team.
  • Train and manage a team of sales and business development representatives to increase lead inflow and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular sales training, support, and feedback to team members.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure a steady stream of repeat business.
  • Act as the point of contact for key clients and manage accounts to ensure client satisfaction and project success

Sales Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales metrics to leadership, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Introduce and train on a CRM software to manage leads, track sales progress, and forecast future sales pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in the software development, IT services, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of global markets, lead generation techniques, and B2B sales strategies.
  • Experience in cold calling, pitching, and closing deals with Local & international clients.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies that result in revenue growth.
  • Leadership experience in building and managing sales teams,
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
