Software Support Executive - Supermarket Domain

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Software Support Executive with hands-on experience in supermarket or retail domain software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support, resolving software issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of supermarket billing and inventory systems, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and efficient technical support to supermarket staff and end-users.
  • Handle queries related to POS (Point of Sale), billing systems, inventory modules, and other supermarket-related software functions.
  • Troubleshoot user-reported issues and ensure timely resolution, either remotely or on-site.
  • Coordinate with the development team to escalate and resolve complex or recurring software problems.
  • Perform software installation, configuration, and updates as required.
  • Train supermarket staff on system usage, new features, and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and report issues proactively to avoid disruptions in store operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of support requests, issues, and resolutions.
  • Support data backup, recovery, and basic database functions when needed.
  • Ensure proper implementation of software in new branches or locations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in software support, preferably in the supermarket or retail domain.
  • Strong knowledge of POS and supermarket billing/inventory software.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting software issues and providing end-user support.
  • Basic understanding of databases (e.g., SQL) is a plus.

Timings : 9 AM - 6 PM

Monday till Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
