Solar Design Project Manager

· Design & Engineering Oversight: Review and approve preliminary and detailed solar system designs, ensuring adherence to technical standards and efficiency goals.

· Project Planning & Management: Develop project schedules, timelines, and milestones from feasibility study to final design handover.

· Site Assessment: Analyze site conditions and coordinate site surveys to optimize system performance.

· Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors.

· Budgeting & Procurement: Manage project costs, track expenses, and support procurement of equipment like inverters and PV modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Experience: 5-7+ years in solar project management or design.

· Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp) and knowledge of electrical codes.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

· Skills: Strong leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, and proficiency with PM software (e.g., MS Project).

· Expertise in utility-scale or C&I (Commercial & Industrial) solar projects.
