Solar Designer/Compliance

Bloxt is a fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector, focused on delivering high quality solar solutions. We're expanding our team and looking for an experienced Solar Designer based in Pakistan to support our UK-based operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design residential and commercial solar PV systems using design software (e.g., PV*Sol, SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Prepare detailed solar designs, including panel layouts, string sizing, and inverter configurations
• Liaise with UK-based teams to support applications to DNOs (Distribution Network Operators)
• Ensure all designs comply with MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) standards and UK regulations
• Handle documentation and submissions through EasyMCS
• Prepare documentation for planning and grid connection approvals
• Collaborate with engineers and sales teams to deliver high quality, compliant solar designs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system design (UK market experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of DNO applications and MCS compliance
• Must have hands-on experience with EasyMCS platform
• Familiarity with UK regulations and solar industry standards
• Proficient in design software (e.g., PV*Sol, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
