Solar Project Engineer Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from concept to commissioning
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and performance targets
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects efficiently and effectively
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success
- Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation and keep stakeholders informed of project progress
Solar Project Engineer Qualifications & Skills
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related discipline
- Experience in managing large-scale solar projects
- Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools and software
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar project management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex solar projects
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
