The role
Solution Architect (UC4)
contract type: full time
location: Istanbul, Turkey | working model: hybrid
We are looking for a Solution Architect with strong technical skills in Workload Automation, with strong technical skills and hands-on experience in job scheduling and orchestration, especially using Automic Workload Automation (UC4). In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise environments, ensuring smooth operations and high performance. You will work closely with both global and local teams, and occasionally provide on-call support when needed.
What you’ll do:
Design, develop, and maintain workload automation solutions for enterprise systems
Lead job scheduling and orchestration processes
Translate business needs into effective automation solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues
Work with APIs, scripts, and databases to integrate systems
Provide 24/7 support when required as part of consulting engagements
What we need to see from you
We’re looking for someone who:
Hands-on experience with Automic Workload Automation (UC4)
Experience with automation/orchestration tools (Opentext OO, RPA tools are a plus)
Strong skills in PowerShell, Python, and Java
Proficient in SQL (DDL and DML)
Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
Ability to write shell scripts and batch scripts
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Bonus points if you:
Experience with Opentext OO and RPA tools
Valid Class B driving license
No military obligation or at least 3 years deferral (for male candidates, if applicable)
