Sourcing Engineering Intern

The purpose of this internship is to immerse students in the professional engineering environment, enabling them to:
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to real-world projects.
- Gain exposure to industry-standard tools, technologies, and workflows.
- Develop problem-solving, design, and analytical skills.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Explore potential career paths and build a foundation for future employment.
- Assist in sourcing mechanical parts (e.g., machined parts, sheet metal, fasteners).
- Compare supplier quotes, lead times, and quality.
- Support RFQ and supplier communication.
- Review basic technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain sourcing records and documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain
- Basic understanding of mechanical components.
- Proficient in Excel and good communication skills.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings is a plus.
